Corporate and Social Responsibility
St. John Phnom Penh

Himawari Hotel Apartments was awarded a CSR Recognition Award by the Singapore Compact for Corporate Social Responsibility (now Global Compact Network Singapore). Through its CSR program, Himawari Hotel Apartments supported the formation of the St John Phnom Penh Organization, a non-governmental youth voluntary organization specialized in providing first aid and home nursing training. With Himawari Hotel Apartments support, St John Phnom Penh members are able to improve the health and well-being of the Cambodia people through the teaching of first aid, performing public duties, and providing humanitarian aid throughout Cambodia.

Piano Recitals for Charity

Himawari Hotel Apartments has hosted several inspiring piano recitals performed by rising star pianists such as Nicholas Ho. It’s an opportunity for students, teachers and classical music lovers to witness Asia’s most promising concert pianists. Part of the proceeds are donated to various charities, such as helping fund relief and support efforts for flood victims.

Art Exhibits for Charity

Many art exhibits and fairs have been held at Himawari in an attempt to not only raise funds for charity, but also promote local artists and their craft to a wider audience, and we sincerely thank them for their willingness to support our charitable initiatives. Artists such as Foo Kwee Horng, Nou Sary, Chhim Sothy and Ou Vandy have all played a large part of these events, as well as graciously donating their art to Himawari for display.
